Most roadside operations sell a menu — towing, lockouts, fuel, tires, jumps — across as wide an area as they can reach. That model has a built-in problem: the cheapest item on the menu is the one nobody wants to send a truck for, so it either gets deprioritised or it gets turned into a bigger job once someone is standing at your car.

We do the cheap item. That is the whole business. Because a jump start is not a loss-leader for us, there is no version of this where getting your car started is an inconvenience on the way to selling you something else.
