A steep driveway is a problem you cannot push your way out of

Will jumping my car risk the electronics?

We use a regulated pack that will not spike the system and will not deliver if the clamps go on backwards, and we connect to the manufacturer-designated ground stud rather than whatever bracket happens to be nearest. Reversed polarity and a wrong ground point are what damage cars, not jump starting itself.
